YOOX Enlists an "All-Star" Design Team for "Soccer Couture" Capsule Collection
Vivienne Westwood, Kolor and more were involved.
YOOX has unveiled an exclusive line of soccer gear crafted by globally-renowned designers.
Linking up with an “all-star” crew of designers, YOOX has produced a Spring/Summer 2018 line made up of t-shirts and sweatshirts that take their inspirational cues from the international sports scene. Billed as “Where Fashion Meets Soccer,” YOOX’s “Soccer Couture” capsule collection features creative contributions from Vivienne Westwood, 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi, Alexander Terekhov, Kolor, Y/Project, Delpozo, Ottolinger and others. Notably, the designers were given the task of “interpreting” the nationalities of certain soccer teams “through prints and unique design.”
You can take a look at YOOX’s “Soccer Couture” Spring/Summer 2018 capsule collection, and expect to find the clothes for sale at YOOX starting today, May 31. Proceeds from the retailing of the line’s wares will go to Stars for Children, a charity that assists kids in need and supports their athletic ambitions.
