Y-3‘s Fall/Winter 2018 collection blends the brand’s sporty heritage with nods to both contemporary technology and Japanese design, yielding an accessible range of layering pieces and sneakers. Shot in Los Angeles, the collection’s campaign imagery highlights the mostly-muted range, with reworked Three Stripes branding seen throughout. Navy, grey and yellow hues accent scarves, shirts, coats and sneakers, creating bold contrast against the black and white layers. Patchwork detailing and sashiko-influenced stitching appears on a variety of goods, offsetting the darker items with white stitches and dangling threads. Updated shoe silhouettes also materialize, including the Bynder Super and High, which sport adidas branding and nubuck panels, along with white stitches to complement the clothes.

Stay tuned for more seasonal campaign imagery from Y-3, presumably coming soon.

Elsewhere, the brand showcased a host of new footwear for Spring/Summer 2019 at Paris Fashion Week.
