adidas Consortium & mita sneakers Collaborate on Tokyo-Inspired "Cages & Coordinates" Pack
New takes on the Stan Smith and NMD TS1.

adidas Consortium and mita sneakers have collaborated for the first time since 2016’s SEEULATER release, with a new two-sneaker capsule taking influence from mita’s home city of Tokyo. Titled “Cages & Coordinates,” each of the silhouettes references one half of the title. The NMD TS1 PK features a tonal mesh pattern, designed to recall the wire display cages in mita’s Tokyo store.
The second sneaker in the pack — an updated Stan Smith — comes in an understated black colorway with a premium leather upper and a contrasting white sole. Other detail includes black heel tabs and side-zips, as well as white text across the tongue and heel. This text is the coordinates element of the capsule, with the numbers referencing the mita store in Tokyo and the adidas headquarters in Germany. The full capsule is set to release via retailers such as END. on July 14.
