A Closer Look at the PUMA Clyde Court Disrupt
A re-interpretation of its first basketball shoe.

After 20 years, PUMA is poised to re-enter the basketball space with the Clyde Court Disrupt. A reinterpretation of its OG Clyde sneaker, the German-based imprint’s foray into the sport stood as a monumental moment for the game and its surrounding culture. Enlisting the future Hall of Famer, Walter “Clyde” Frazier, to front the silhouette, the appointment stood as the NBA’s first signature athlete product. Known as a sartorial icon, Fraizer brought style on-and-off the court similar to his model’s transcendence from its athletic roots to fashion icon.
The new lightweight, iteration includes technical updates that foster fit and comfort alongside style cues to take it from on the court to off. Featuring a bold palette of yellow and red, the upper features an engineered collar and knit construction to secure and support the foot. In tandem, the external heel counter and lace system affix the foot in place. And, with a responsive foam sole and rubber cupsole, stability and durability allow for explosive, cushioned, movements.
The PUMA Clyde Court Disrupt is dropping on October 1, and you can head to PUMA’s website for more information.
