PHLEMUNS is an LA-based label that thinks outside the norms of today’s trend-driven fashion industry with dynamic, seasonless designs that juxtapose womenswear and menswear. Well loved by the likes of Solange, Kelela, SZA and Dev Hynes, PHLEMUNS now debuts its latest extension, Nonbasics, a line that offers classic silhouettes a step above basics at an affordable price.
PHLEMUNS Nonbasics is influenced by the ’90s and ’00s world of Gap, United Colors of Benetton and FUBU. Staying true to the brand DNA, Nonbasics consists of fully non-gendered silhouettes featuring reconstructed touches and modern proportions. The pieces range from cozy sweats and cut-out tees, to drawstring cargo pants and cropped work jackets, all of which are tied together by an earthy, retro color palette.
Check out the PHLEMUNS Nonbasics lookbook above and expect the line to be available at PHELMUNS’ web store this June. For more refined basics, check out Aimé Leon Dore’s Summer 2018 capsule collection.
