Nicolas Cage stars in the Panos Cosmatos-directed action-horror flick Mandy. Couple Red Miller (Cage) and Mandy Bloom (Andrea Riseborough) become the victims of a home invasion as the thieves kidnap Mandy for a cult sacrifice. Red then follows after her, seeking revenge with fire and fury.

The trailer above features wild imagery of the creepy cult alongside a mythical weapon meant to thwart evil, buckets of blood and color-saturation, and even animated footage. The look and soundtrack harken back to ’80s horror, further shaping the cinematic mood of the film. Check out the footage above, and watch the movie in full when it premieres September 14.

In related news, check out the equally as bloody Predator red band trailer.
