Leica Camera Japans Announces a Limited Leica Q "Safari" Edition
Leather details hit the compact Leica model.



Leica has been known to release limited edition cameras with premium details and accessories, and now Leica Japan announces a “Safari” edition for the Japanese market. The camera body is wrapped with green-colored cowhide leather. The leather strap has been tanned to a rich cognac color. All the technical aspects of the camera are in-line with the regular model, with a Summilix 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens perfect for everyday carry. The camera offers undeniable detail thanks to the full-frame 24 Megapixel CMOS sensor. Only 50 cameras will see production, and will cost ¥691,200, which roughly converts to $6,283 USD.
