UPDATE: KAWS x Uniqlo UT 'Sesame Street' Collection Has an Official Release Date

UPDATE: According to Uniqlo’s UT page, the KAWS x Uniqlo UT Sesame Street Collection will hit Uniqlo’s web store on June 28 before releasing at select stores on June 29.

Just yesterday celebrated artist KAWS teased his forthcoming Sesame Street-themed collaboration with Japanese fast fashion retailer Uniqlo. Though we were only given three drawings of KAWS’ BFF Companion alongside fan favorite Sesame Street characters such as Oscar the Grouch, Ernie and Elmo, we now have a first look at what the items will look like.

Thanks to @onusofficial, nine T-shirts featured in a multitude of bright color have surfaced. Standout graphics include a KAWS Companion embracing Bert, Ernie and Elmo, as well as a design featuring a KAWS Companion hiding inside Oscar the Grouch’s garbage can with Elmo and Cookie Monster at its side. KAWS even shared a picture of his daughter wearing a shirt from the collection, which can be seen above. Peep the T-shirts in the IG gallery below.
