KAWS Is Bringing a Giant Floating Figure to Seoul's Seokchon Lake
Accompanied by a limited merch range.
Fresh off the high-profile release of the KAWS x Sesame Street x Uniqlo UT collection, world-renowned artist KAWS has teamed up with AllRightsReserved to introduce plans for a very special new art project.
Specifically, KAWS, LOTTE and AllRightsReserved will build a floating figure for Seoul’s Seokchon Lake. The 28-meter piece will float on Seokchon Lake from July 19 to August 19 and is curated exclusively by AllRightsReserved. Titled KAWS:HOLIDAY, the unorthodox large form piece will come accompanied by a capsule of special edition products to celebrate the collaboration. Centered around pool ready items, the range includes a KAWS:HOLIDAY replica bath toy, floating bed, T-shirts, umbrella and towel.
No official pricing details just yet, but the KAWS:HOLIDAY merch will be available exclusively at DING DONG Takuhaibin, CLOT and LOTTE World Mall July 19 at 10 a.m. HKT.
