A Closer Look at the KAWS x 'Sesame Street' x Uniqlo UT Collection

Late last month celebrated artist, and recent Dior Homme collaborator, KAWS teased his forthcoming Sesame Street-themed collaboration with Japanese fast fashion retailer Uniqlo. The capsule, which we now know consists of a range of graphic T-shirts, includes new drawings of KAWS’ BFF Companion alongside fan favorite Sesame Street characters such as Oscar the Grouch, Ernie and Elmo.
Standout items include a KAWS Companion embracing Bert, Ernie and Elmo, as well as a design featuring a KAWS Companion hiding inside Oscar the Grouch’s garbage can with Elmo and Cookie Monster at its side. Unfortunately this time around no plushes will be included in the drop. Take a closer look at the collection above.
The KAWS x Sesame Street x Uniqlo UT collection will launch online at Uniqlo’s web store on June 28 at 9 p.m. EST and in-store at select locations on June 29, ranging from $14.90 USD for adult sizing and $9.90 USD for kids sizing.
