TDE's Biggest Stars Discuss Jay Rock's Rise for 'Road to Redemption' Docuseries

To support this Friday’s release of Jay Rock‘s new studio album Redemption, the TDE crew is launching a new docu-series titled Road to Redemption. The videos tell the story of Jay Rock’s come-up, starting with his first major musical releases and working up to the point his career is currently at. Notably, TDE’s all-star cast of artists show up to narrate the piece and share their thoughts on their Nickerson Gardens cohort.
“If you really from the struggle … your heart will always be there regardless,” Kendrick Lamar explains. “That’s how it is with Jay Rock … he’s always there physically, mentally, spiritually, because that’s who he is.” Elsewhere, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, Punch, Dave Free and MixedByAli open up about the Watts star.
