He's Back! Michael Myers Returns in Blumhouse's First Trailer for 'Halloween'
40 years after his first Halloween night killing spree, Michael comes face-to-face with Laurie once again.
Horror film production company Blumhouse dropped the first trailer to its Halloween sequel this morning, continuing with all the elements that made the now 11-film-strong franchise so iconic in the slasher genre. Set 40 years after Michael Myers’s first Halloween night killing spree, the maniac murderer escapes from a mental institution and immediately returns to his evil ways. Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie, the primary protagonist tasked with stopping Michael, while the David Gordon Green-directed cast is rounded out by Judy Greer, Will Patton and Omar Dorsey.
