Directly following the release of the animated video for the Freddie Gibbs-assisted “Death Wish,” DJ Muggs and MF DOOM return with the second part of their new collaborative effort.

Known as “Assassination Day,” the new joint record features a lyrical assist from the legendary Kool G Rap. The song serves as the latest addition to the promotional campaign for Muggs’ upcoming studio album of the same name. To support today’s release and his latest endeavors, Muggs — aided by his Soul Assassins team — has put together a special merchandise and vinyl line, which you can check out at the official Soul Assassins website.

You can stream DJ Muggs, MF DOOM and Kool G Rap’s “Assassination Day” above. The Assassination Day project is scheduled to arrive on August 3.

At the beginning of this month, DOOM also appeared on Youth of the Apocalypse’s “Drop the Bomb.”
