Iconic Dieter Rams Pieces are Available at Auction
Everything from signature watches and calculators to furniture and audio equipment.
German industrial designer Dieter Rams is known as one of the most influential designers in his field, and his work is often seen as a key inspiration behind Apple designs. A new auction is now selling a wide selection of Rams’ designs, as well as pieces from his frequent collaborators including Dietrich Lubs and Peter Hartwein.
The sale includes some of his most iconic pieces, including Braun watches, calculators and alarm clocks as well as furniture and audio equipment. Key furniture designs include Rams’ minimalist cabinets, sofas and chairs, while the audio pieces range from speakers to turntables.
