21 Savage Says Drake Should Get More Respect for Helping Up-and-Coming Rappers
“Every f*ckin’ year, he pull a new artist up. Ain’t no other artist on his level do that sh*t.”

In a recent story for GQ, 21 Savage talked about how Drake should get more respect for helping up-and-comers. Savage started by talking about the story behind the Ferrari 488 that Drizzy allegedly bought him for his 24th birthday. “Nah, I bought it,” the Atlanta rapper clarified. “But Drake brought me one for my birthday to ride around L.A. He the only one that got me something for my birthday that year.”
“Drake just a genuine-ass good-hearted person,” he added, praising Drizzy for helping newcomers in the music industry. “He did a lot of sh*t he didn’t have to do. He do a lot of sh*t for up-and-coming rappers, period. I don’t think he get his respect for that. Every f*ckin’ year, he pull a new artist up. Ain’t no other artist on his level do that sh*t.”
This year, the Toronto rapper has collaborated with BlocBoy JB for “Look Alive” and Lil Baby on “Yes Indeed.” Check out the full interview via GQ.
