French designer Boramy Viguier presented his Spring/Summer 2019 collection at Paris Fashion Week and, with this being only his second full menswear range, is proving to carve out a strong signature style. Boramy’s sophomore collection continues to build upon his utilitarian-meets-traditional menswear codes, this time, taking to a techwear world where East meets West.

The latest range has a particular focus on classic cowboy shirting. Elements such as Western yoke construction, contrast piping and multi-textile saddle stitching are given a techwear translation, appearing via parka style outerwear, zip-up bombers, technical fabrics and bolo-style drawstrings. More style fusions are offered in the accessories category, such as the saddle-like waist packs and embroidered wrist cuffs, while dragon belt buckles and Asian farmer hats nod to the designer’s Eastern roots.

Check out Boramy Viguier’s SS19 collection lookbook above and be sure to follow our Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 coverage for the latest design content.
