adidas POD-S3.1

Sneaker Politics

Release Date: June 13
Release Price:  $130 USD, at select adidas retailers and adidas.com

The futuristic POD-S3.1 runner is the latest addition to adidas’s BOOST lineage, with features that include a knitted mesh sock-like upper, welded Three Stripes branding, and an EVA foam forefoot with a BOOST heel hybrid sole unit. This colorway sees a predominantly black scheme with pops of  neon green and blue at the arch, heel counter and mid-foot strap. Its overall look connects EQT models of Three Stripes’s past with today’s forward-thinking footwear styles.

Supreme x Nike Air Streak Spectrum Plus

Supreme

Release Date: June 14
Release Price:  N/A, available online and in the NY, LA, London and Paris stores. Japan will see a release on June 16

Air Jordan 14 Retro “Last Shot”

Nike

Release Date: June 14
Release Price:  $190 USD, available at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS

Inspired by a Ferarri, the Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” gets its name from the fact that it was worn by Michael Jordan during his last game as a member of the Chicago Bulls. That final game would result in MJ snagging his sixth and final NBA title along with NBA Finals MVP honors. It continues the popular “BRED” theme with a black base complemented by red and yellow accents.

adidas UltraBOOST Clima “Core Black” & “Cloud White”

Release Date: June 14
Release Price:  $200 USD, available via select adidas retailers and adidas.com

adidas’ UltraBOOST continues its successful race with an improved upper. This time around, the BOOST-boasting runner welcomes moisture-wicking yarn for enhanced breathability. The forthcoming drop sees “Core Black” and “Cloud White” options with signature design nods returning, such as its hardened heel counter and stripped-down lacing cage.

Nike BETRUE 2018 Collection: Air VaporMax Plus

Nike

Release Date: June 15
Release Price:  $190, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS

The Nike Air VaporMax and Air Max Plus join forces once more to celebrate the LGBTQ community and Pride Month. The hybrid’s multicolor neoprene underlay is contrasted by a black overlay and laces to match. The VaporMax unit complements the aforementioned upper with an appropriate rainbow color gradient.

Midnight Studios x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70 & One Star

Jun Tsang/HBX

Release Date: June 15
Release Price:  N/A, available at select Converse retailers

After being teased by Shane Gonzalez recently, Midnight Studios‘s two-silhouette collaboration with Converse includes the Chuck Taylor All Star 70 and One Star models, both appearing in an off-white hue with black accents. Some of the design features include dual-branded laces and an inside-out design where the classic Converse logo is placed on the inside of the sneaker. In addition, sizing and care instructions sit on the outside rather than being hidden on the inside.

Nike Air Force 270 “Gold Standard”

Nike

Release Date: June 16
Release Price:  $170 USD, available at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online

Nike’s “Art of a Champion” collection comes to a close with one of its final drops. The offering sees the Air Force 270 hybrid mixing black, gold and white throughout.
