'SOULCALIBUR VI' Set to Release With a Collector's Edition

Adding to its list of anticipated E3 2018 game reveals, Bandai Namco unveiled a new story trailer for SOULCALIBUR VI.

Returning for a sixth iteration, the weapon-centric 3D plane fighter will be set in the 16th century and focus on uncovering the “hidden truths” from the franchise’s origins. The game also introduces a new Reversal Edge game mechanic, encouraging defensive playstyles. For instance, the new game element triggers a decisive slow-motion counter-attack cut upon collision. Serving as a retelling of the original 1995 title, SOULCALIBUR VI will be released with a collector’s edition, which features a 12-inch figure of Sophitia, soundtrack, metal case with a built-in soundbox with four in-game voiceover audio clips and a 120-page artbook
