Kanye West and Kid Cudi released their highly-anticipated seven-track collaborative album Kids See Ghosts earlier this month, which included the hit “Reborn.” Deciding to highlight the Plain Pat-produced single, the creatives over at Genius have decoded the meaning behind the lyrics to “Reborn.” On the track West name-drops Chicago’s Audy Home along with touching upon deep topics such as his mental health issues and bi-polor diagnosis.
The video posted above breaks down West’s Arthur J. Audy Home reference, which was the world’s first juvenile court and detention center based in the city of Chicago, where Kanye also grew up.
