TIDAL Supposedly Owes Months of Royalty Payments
Possibly going back to six months.

Just days after reports emerged about TIDAL potentially falsifying its streaming numbers, more bad news has emerged. The streaming service purportedly owes months of royalty payments to record labels, with bills stretching back six months.
Sveinung Rindal, CEO of a Sony subsidiary label, stated that “It is correct that there are delays in payments from TIDAL,” and Propellor Recordings CEO Frithjof Hungnes reaffirmed that ““We have not been paid since October … People are talking about withdrawing [their music from TIDAL].” On the other hand, a TIDAL representative told The Verge, “We have experienced negative stories about TIDAL since its inception and we have done nothing but grow the business each year.”
The reports have yet to be officially confirmed. In other music news, Kanye West recently teased production and tracklists for some of his upcoming musical endeavors.
