OnePlus Introduces Latest Flagship Phone, the 6
The Chinese company returns with another sturdy handset.
After teasing an Avengers: Infinity War iteration of its latest flagship, OnePlus has revealed the details of the forthcoming 6. Unlike other phone manufacturers, OnePlus debuts a single flagship model at a time, meaning the 6 will not come in premium and standard options.
Offered in a trio of colors, the OnePlus 6 boasts the company’s biggest screen yet, measuring 6.28 inches. Tech includes 16- and 20-megapixel dual rear-facing cameras, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip and a minimum 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be upgraded in increments of $50 USD. The company promises to focus on community-driven updates, with future beta programs and updates promised down the line.
The OnePlus 6 debuts on May 22 for $529 USD; head to OnePlus’s website for more information on the flagship phone.
Meanwhile, Samsung is elevating its own flagship, the Galaxy S9, with premium new colors.
