Samsung Debuts "Sunrise Gold" & "Burgundy Red" Galaxy S9 & S9+
The flagship phone receives two distinct glossy treatments.

Samsung is issuing two head-turning options for its flagship Galaxy S9 and S9+ phones. The new editions are dubbed “Sunrise Gold” and “Burgundy Red.” Both utilize unique gloss finishes distinct from the already-available colorways; the gold hue offers Samsung’s first satin gloss finish, while the red shade boasts one of the deepest red tones on the market. The usual Galaxy S9 detailing is intact, like the high-end cameras, slow-motion capabilities, fingerprint and iris scanning, water resistance and more.
Expect “Burgundy Red” to launch in Korea and China this month, with “Sunrise Gold” appearing in select markets next month. Both new colors will surface in more markets shortly afterwards.
Elsewhere, Samsung is currently tussling with Apple over a $1 billion USD patent violation lawsuit.
