This week’s release roundups include the usual Supreme and Palace deliveries as well as treats from Stüssy, Balenciaga, KITH, adidas Originals by Alexander Wang and more.

With the weather finally getting properly warm for Spring/Summer 2018, we have a handful of new eyewear in a variety of flavors: Supreme’s nineties-era clout goggles and Guy Fieri shades, SSENSE x Gentle Monster’s Matrix-inspired tiny glasses, and Palace x Oakley‘s unapologetically reflective sportswear sunglasses.

Keeping with accessories, Supreme gets playful by dropping Bogo hair tie boggles and a chicken dinner plate ashtray, while Palace keeps it functional with camo and orange bags and a collaborative Oakley “Thermonuclear Protection” hat. The clothing category sees big name brands Balenciaga and adidas Originals by Alexander Wang release their highly-anticipated new seasons, while KITH, Warren Lotas x Fear of God and Stüssy x DSM x Photo London flex some streetwear authority.

Supreme Spring/Summer 2018 Drop 13

This week’s Supreme drop has a little bit of everything. First up is the Spring 2018 sunglasses collection, which features five different vintage ‘90-inspired styles in a bevy of colors and bearing details such as stars studs and gold-tone Supreme hardware. From the SS18 mainline, we have a balanced offering of statement pieces — the patches denim jackets and monogram football jersey — and standard streetwear essentials — fleece crewnecks and hoodies, velour shorts, graphic logo tees. What really tips the scale, however, is the accessories range, which treats us to quirky collectibles such as the Supreme Bogo hair ties (set of 2) and the MVP of the week, the chicken dinner plate ashtray.

Palace Summer 2018 Collection Drop 3 & Oakley Collaboration

London’s Palace pulled out a few big pieces for the third drop of its Summer 2018 collection. This week’s main event is the Palace x Oakley collaboration, a lineup of co-branded “Thermonuclear Protection” items ranging from track jackets and sun hats to signature Oakley sports sunglasses. All pieces are offered in purple and teal options and finished with a holographic sheen. The Palace mainline release has a handful of highlights, too, such as the pink seersucker tracksuit, the panda crewneck sweaters, and the orange and camo waist packs and sling sacks. As always, the offering is anchored with your go-to street basics — color block sweaters, hoodies and graphic tees in a wide array of hues.

When: May 18 (Japan 11:00 a.m. JST; London 11:00 a.m. GMT; New York 11:00 a.m. EST)
Where: Palace’s web store, Japan online store, London flagship and New York store.

Stüssy x Dover Street Market x Photo London T-Shirts

In celebration of annual photography fair Photo London, Stüssy partners with Dover Street Market London on two special-edition T-shirts, which will be accompanied by other collaborations, installations and special releases. Both tees come in an off-white tone and feature Dover Street Market’s logo done in Stüssy’s haphazard handwriting at the back. The graphic prints are of photography selects from the label’s Spring 2018 campaign.

adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Season 3 Release

Alexander Wang and the Three Stripes debut their second drop of the season with an assemblage of stark footwear and athletic garments. The collaborative line stays true to AW’s design style and deconstruction motifs, tied together by a thematic color palette of red, black and multi-colored mosaics. Inverted trefoils are juxtaposed with HTML-inspired typography along its T-shirts, jackets and sweaters; fabric textures see lightweight poly-blends for the warmer days; and footwear includes the AW Reissue Run – packing a dynamic range of materials such as mesh, suede and neoprene — and the Run Clean BOOST, which sees a sleeker silhouette featuring a breathable waffle-like upper.

Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2018 Collection

Earth tones, retro floral prints, woolly houndstooth textures and gingham checks are just a few motifs that run through Balenciaga’s much anticipated Pre-Fall 2018 range. This season features both men’s and women’s silhouettes that focus on loose shapes, unrestrained layering, bold prints and dynamic shirt combinations, bringing Demna Gvasalia’s directional vision to its fold. The men’s line is available for online pre-order on May 23 and expected to release in-store on June 19. The women’s is up for pre-order now with an in-store release on May 16.

WTAPS Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

WTAPS Spring/Summer 2018 collection is a mixture of new additions and what we’ve come to expect from the Japanese label. Ideal for more temperate regions, the collection goes heavy with outerwear, knits, and denim. As always, WTAPS’ penchant for military and Americana is seen in returning themes such as the “MIKE” name patch and WTVUA (WTAPSVISUALUPARMORED) branding. Standout details worth mentioning are the various typefaces and untraditional placement of front zippers — with an inclination towards the half-zip.

UNDEFEATED Summer 2018 Sportswear Collection

UNDEFEATED‘s latest drop is an ode to the early days of sportswear. A modern assortment of staples like the jersey, anorak, polo, coach jacket and shorts is blended with throwback cuts and graphics. On the color side of things, bright pastels are favored, but just enough hits of black and gray are mixed in for some balance. If T-shirts are your thing, this collection has you covered — there’s even a sports towel thrown in for good measure.
