It’s fairly common within the creative process to rapidly ideate, build and toss. However, a Reddit user by the name of Trent Shy provides an extreme example where his claymation music video for an unreleased track featuring QuavoGucci Mane and Tyga was unfortunately canceled after all the work had already been done. “I spent the past 3 months working 10-15 hours a day on this Claymation music video,” he posted. Apparently, the entire video had to be thrown out because the producer who initially hired the filmmaker wasn’t featured enough on it. The rappers probably had no idea the video was even created, which is why Shy took to Reddit and posted a version without the audio to get more support. For now, it appears that only Tyga has seen the stop-motion work and sends his approval. Now, Shy hopes Quavo and Gucci will rally around the visuals and bring more light to the project.

Take a look at the full music video above, which showcases the stop-motion filmmaker’s incredibly detailed work.  And in case you missed it, be sure to watch Gucci Mane’s latest video for “Solitaire” featuring Migos and Lil Yachty.
