EA Sports has officially revealed the cover star for its Madden NFL 19 Hall of Fame Edition, 2018 Hall of Fame inductee and former wide receiver Terrell Owens. Owens was a six-time Pro Bowler who played for the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, though the cover features him donning a blue, silver and white uniform of the Cowboys.

The announcement came in a mock, press-like conference posted to Terrell Owens’s Instagram page. In the short clip, Owens states he will be returning to the NFL, however in virtual reality form as opposed to hitting the actual field.

Fans who pre-order the Hall of Fame Edition of Madden NFL 19 will earn a three-day early access to the full game on August 7 along with their choice of one of five Elite Hall of Fame Legends in Madden Ultimate Team, one Training Pack, and seven additional Gold Team Fantasy Packs. On the other-hand, EA Access members will be able to play Madden NFL 19 starting August 2 on Xbox One, and will receive a 10 percent discount when pre-ordering the digital version on Xbox Live.

Madden 19 is set to hit shelves on August 10 for all major consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 priced at $79.99 USD. Head over to EA Sports’ official website to pre-order now. In more NFL-related news, the league now requires players to stand for the national anthem.
