Prince Did Not Like the Kardashians
The Purple One wasn’t cool with reality TV’s “First Family.”
As Zooey Deschanel reveals in a new interview with Conan, Prince was not exactly a fan of the Kardashians. Speaking to Conan O’Brien about the famous Prince episode of Deschanel’s hit-show New Girl, Deschanel says that the crew behind her TV show had to quickly ax an idea to feature Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Upon hearing about other celebrity guest stars in the Prince episode, an assistant said, “Who are the celebrities? I hope it’s not a Kardashian.” Upon hearing that statement, the New Girl quickly rushed to ensure the aforementioned pair of Kardashians were taken out of the final script and show. “It’s really sad because Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner had very kindly come in and shot [a] scene… I felt so bad because obviously everyone had gone out of their way to be there on that day, but Prince was running the show,” explains Deschanel.
