PayPal has announced a new partnership with Google, creating an easier way for the payment service to be used across the Google ecosystem. The new program will make your PayPal account available across all Google services as soon as you link it up to one, meaning that it will automatically become a payment option on sites including YouTube, Gmail and the Google Store.

The news has led to some questions of privacy protection, but the usual PayPal log in will still be required even if it is linked to the other sites. Announcing the partnership, PayPal explained that the move was intended to create a “seamless payment experience” for Google users.

In other tech news, Apple has made upgraded iCloud options available for free.
