Nike's Air Max 97/Plus Digs Into the Swoosh's Colorway Vault
Dialing back the clock.

One of Nike‘s latest hybrids in the Air Max 97/Plus has emerged in a familiar color scheme. The Air Max Plus’ original colorway from 1998 makes its way onto the upcoming launch hosting a black underlay with flame-inspired color transitions on its webbed overlay.
The Air Max 97‘s full-length sole unit supports the aforementioned upper in black with orange accents. Red, orange and yellow make up the color transitions on the upper as the Air Max Plus‘ traditional heel logo is swapped to read “Mx Air.”
There’s no current word on a confirmed launch date as of yet. Stay tuned for additional information regarding its arrival and check out the flipped Air Max Plus/97 in “Racer Pink.”
