Capcom Gives 'Mega Man 11' an Official Release Date
A celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
Following up an announcement trailer, Capcom recently revealed the official release date and a pre-order trailer for Mega Man 11.
Set to release October 2, the game serves as a celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary and pays homage to the origins of The Blue Bomber. Featuring a 2.5D graphic style with 3D polygonal characters and environments, the game is centered around Mega Man stopping villain Dr. Wily from using the Double Gear system for his fiendish plans. Unique to the upcoming game, the Double Gear system allows Mega Man to access Speed Gear to slow time down and Power Gear to overcharge the Mega Buster. While the Double Gear will combine the aforementioned abilities when prompted by a low health bar.
Stay tuned for the official release of the game come October 2 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
