HANON Celebrates Joint History With Le Coq Sportif Collaboration
“The Good Agreement.”
After sneaker collaborations with Diadora and Reebok already this year, Scotland’s HANON has linked up with Le Coq Sportif for its latest joint release. The new “The Good Agreement” take on the LCS R800 silhouette takes its name from the English translation of Bon Accord, the motto of HANON’s home town and a historic alliance between France and Scotland.
Continuing the theme of alliances, for this collaboration HANON has also recruited C.F. Stead — an English suede manufacturer — and Scottish label Halley Stevensons. The resulting sneaker sees a mix of materials and textures used on the LCS R800, with three different suede colors (“Rich Blue,” “Light Turquoise” and “Burnt Orange”) used alongside Halley Stevenson’s water-resistant and durable P200 Discovery fabric in “Rich Cumin.” The HANON x Le Coq Sportif “The Good Agreement” is available via raffle on the HANON web store now, with the register closing on May 25.
