Childish Gambino's "This Is America" Is Officially No. 1
Dethroning Drake in the process.

After enjoying a cozy 15-week reign at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Drake has now officially been dethroned by Childish Gambino’s new socially and politically charged single, “This Is America.” The track, which was originally made its debut in early May on Saturday Night Live, took on a new life when after the release of his remarkable Hiro Murai-directed video accompaniment which has since garnered over 100 million views on YouTube.
As of today, the song is officially No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 according to ChartData.

Meanwhile, Drake previously sat on the No. 1 spot for 15 weeks with “God’s Plan” occupying the slot for 11 weeks, while “Nice For What” claimed the top of charts for four weeks.
