Donald Glover‘s musical persona Childish Gambino made a triumphant return last night, teaming up with Atlanta collaborator Hiro Murai to drop the bold visuals for Glover’s new track, “This Is America” — the first taste of brand new Childish Gambino music since 2016’s celebrated Awaken, My Love!.
To coincide with the release, Glover also hosted SNL last night, appearing in a ton of skits while introducing yet another new track. In addition to a performance of bouncy new cut “Saturday,” Glover poked fun at everything from Migos and Kanye to Star Wars and Barbie, appearing as a member of the “Friendos,” trying to keep quiet in a Yeezy x A Quiet Place mashup, hosting an intergalactic summit as Lando, and even taking a turn as an intern at Mattel.
Check it all out below and look for Glover’s young Lando to hit the big screen when Solo: A Star Wars Story comes to theaters on May 25.
