Alexander McQueen’s Leather Trainer Takes on an Air Jordan 1 "Bred"-Like Color Scheme
Up for grabs now.

Alexander McQueen has kept busy on the footwear front — chunky sneakers in particular – releasing a swarm of eye-catching reworks in some notable color schemes. The high-end fashion house unveiled a new version of its popular clunky trainer, once again, utilizing a color scheme originally made famous on a Swoosh-related shoe. Earlier unveiling the silhouette in tonal motifs that resembled a pair of OG Air Max 1s, this new rendition, however, dresses the shoe in an Air Jordan 1 “Bred Toe”-like palette.
Red, black and white leather panels comprise the upper, which sits atop a thick clean white rubber sole unit. Statement metallic silver branding found on the tongue tab and heel counter tie the look together. Priced at $616 USD, you can find this Alexander McQueen trainer now at matchesfashion.com.
In other statement sneaker news, adidas continues the chunky shoe frenzy with a bold new Falcon silhouette.
