adidas’s groundbreaking UltraBOOST lineup has leveled off considerably since first bursting out onto the scene a few years back, in a sense allowing newer models, such as the Kamanda and F/22 to catch some due shine. With that in mind, the Three Stripes brand is primed and ready to expand the BOOST-centric family with a new model, dubbed the adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Mid Prototype, or Midproto.

A bold “Volt”-like hue dominates much of the upper with blue landing on the tongue and heel collar, while the signature BOOST sole sits comfortably below. The left shoe highlights a deep navy overlay on the eyestay and front bumper with white stripes running down the side, while the right shoe features a grey bumper and eyestay with navy-hued branding stripes. The new adidas design will make its debut on May 26 at such retailers as INVINCIBLE.
