This Chiang Mai-based home, called the Maxime Residence, is the latest one to pique our interest. Situated around a flower yard, the space is designed to connect directly with the nature surrounding it. Created by Blank Studios, the exterior makes use of a wide terrace, while the interior utilizes the open spaces, which are split into 3 sections. These are the parlour, master quarter and service area respectively, while a connecting terrace keeps the indoor light-filled by being semi-outdoors.
The stone walls are designed to be the main element that keeps public and private spaces separate, with two parallel walls designed to enclose private spaces. You can take a look at the Maxime Residence in the gallery above.
