Liam Hodges Spotlights Spring/Summer 2018 in Campaign Video
Featuring the designer’s FILA & Côte&Ciel collaborations.
London-based designer Liam Hodges has showcased his “Unveiled Tomorrows” Spring/Summer 2018 collection with a new short video directed by long-time collaborator Hector Aponysus. The short film is intended to focus on Hodges’ mixing of high-fashion and DIY, as well as reflecting some of the collection’s key influences.
One of the main themes in the Spring/Summer 2018 capsule — which was first previewed at London Fashion Week: Men’s last year — is motifs such as “NOISE” or a screaming bear, which are references to a generation that wants to be cute while everything they have to deal with is wearing them down. To this end, the film appears to be set in a studio before the Colourama background is set on fire. As well as pieces featuring the “NOISE” and bear graphics, the campaign video also spotlights Hodges’ collaborations with FILA and Côte&Ciel. The full collection is available now from the Liam Hodges web store.
