Liam Hodges & FILA Officially Reveal New Colorblocked Capsule
For a range of athletic-inspired pieces.
Having first made an appearance at Liam Hodges‘ Spring/Summer 2018 show in London, the designer’s collaboration with FILA has now been officially revealed. The joint capsule sees Hodges dip into FILA’s archive to rework classic silhouettes, cuts and graphics for a bold colorblocked collection.
The colorblock aesthetic and pinstripe finishes are both influenced by FILA’s history, and feature alongside detailing such as exposed seams that reference previous Liam Hodges collections. As well as the apparel — which includes long-sleeve polo shirts, sweaters, tees and co-branded track pants — the collection features three takes on FILA’s Original Fitness silhouette. The sneaker comes in three colorways, with red, green or grey options, and is finished with Liam Hodges’ embroidered branding on the heel.
The collection is set to drop in February 2018 at select retailers including Selfridges and Dover Street Market. In other fashion news, Bianca Chandôn and Crescent Down Works have recently dropped a joint collection.
