Jay Z Is Slowly Pulling Solo Albums From Major Music Streaming Services

Spotify and Apple Music both missing projects from their archives.

It seems as if Jay Z is slowly pulling solo works from some major music streaming services to make way for TIDAL. Upon his own request, Spotify and Apple Music now have albums missing from their catalog archives. Spotify for instance, still has his collaborative Unfinished Business album with R. Kelly available, while most other projects are gone. Over in the UK, Sean Carter’s The Black Album and The Blueprint are now absent on Apple Music with both Google Play and SoundCloud Go remaining relatively unscathed for the time being. While no official word has yet been available regarding HOVA’s reasoning, it is believed Jay is looking to renegotiate his streaming profit margins with these music service providers.
