Off DJ Koze’s forthcoming ‘Pampa Vol. 1’
A bit unexpected but we’ll take it. Some new Jamie xx has hit the web and it comes courtesy of DJ Koze. The German based DJ has compiled his first-ever label compilation as a new project for Pampa Records. Aside from this Jamie xx feature, Pampa Vol. 1 also includes records from Mount Kimbie, Gold Panda and Roman Flügel. You can stream the whole project along with his Jamie xx assisted track here.
This song is an ode to London’s orbital motorway, the M25. i was thinking about a Family who was so isolated, so removed from society, that they would just go and spend the end of their days in a car. The cooperation with Kosi has nothing to do with it. -Jamie xx
