adidas Just Gave the Superstar 80s a Crazy Slip-On Makeover
With Primeknit construction to boot.

Given its classically clean looks, the Superstar 80s lends itself well to material upgrades — just see last summer’s Primeknit-constructed Consortium offering for proof. Now the iconic shell-toed kicks are getting another Primeknit makeover, this time with a decidedly different look than their predecessors. Whereas 2015’s Superstar 80s Primeknits largely echoed the look of the original (just ditching the usual leather in favor of knit paneling), the latest take on the kicks opts for a slip-on design similar to that of the Very Spezial Primeknit. Like the aforementioned Spezial, these Superstars also sport a pull tab at the heel while the shoe’s item number — S75427 — comes embedded in the knit for an added conceptual touch.
The Lush Red/Footwear White look is available now from FOOT DISTRICT, but will surely disappear in a flash.
