After two years apart, Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design rejoins Oakley for another collaborative eyewear range. Centering around Fujiwara’s preferred Frogskins silhouette, the release introduces the “Frogskins Lite,” a brand new silhouette that strips down the Frogskins by removing the frame below the lens. Available in “MATTE BLACK/Prizm Grey” and “POLISHED BLACK/Dark Grey,” the new design retains Oakley’s sturdy construction and include a clear microbag emblazoned with the fragment design logo. Co-branding appears on the arms, with “FRGMT” embedded in the upper left side of the lens.

The POLISHED BLACK and MATTE BLACK glasses launch on April 28 and will retail for ¥21,000 JPY and ¥23,000 JPY (about $200 USD and $215 USD), respectively on Oakley’s Japanese website. Elsewhere, Dover Street Market‘s worldwide locations and Oakley flagships in Milano, Los Angeles, New York, London and Sydney will also receive the collaborative frames.

Most recently, KITH upgraded Oakley’s Razor Blade frames for its “Utah” collection.
