Denzel Curry Drops New Track "Sumo"
He also released the video for “Ultimate” featuring Juicy J.
It’s a good day to be a Denzel Curry fan. The Carol City, Florida rapper teamed up with Apple Music and director Mike Piscitelli to create a video for “Ultimate,” which features a new Juicy J verse and cameo. You can watch that on Apple Music right now. He also releases “Sumo,” a track off his upcoming Taboo LP. “Sumo” originally featured Ski Mask the Slump God, but he didn’t send his verse in time, so Denzel had to take him off the song.
Denzel also sat down with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio, revealing that he has completed recording vocals for Taboo and that the album is currently headed to post-production. “I’ve pretty much got the vocal parts done, now it’s going into post-production. For the date, I can’t tell y’all when the date is, you’re just going to have to figure that out, but there are going to be key features on this thing, man,” he said. There’s no release date yet for the LP, but it should be coming out this year.
