These eight songs took one year to make.

It’s been nearly a year since we last heard from T-Bruin following the release of The Great Escape, his highly slept-on joint project with Atlanta producer Big Cat. Today, Bru has put together an intriguing new conceptual project that materialized after the Atlanta rapper felt an imbalance and a sense of discouragement stemming from the current state of hip-hop. With that said, he wanted to create a project similar in feel to his favorite albums growing up, which included Reasonable Doubt, College Dropout, Food & Liquor and Illmatic.

Regarding the project, “It literally took me a year to put these eight songs together” says T-Bruin, adding “Early in the creative process I was really discouraged because of the current state of hip-hop where I feel like there is a huge imbalance in sound.”
