Wes Anderson Jokes About Guillermo del Toro & Dwayne Johnson in Reddit AMA

This Easter Sunday, Wes Anderson took part in what’s being called one of the most legendary Reddit AMAs to date. Here he takes part in a tongue-in-cheek AMA to promote his upcoming Isle of Dogs film, even posting a proof picture of the Mr. Fox meme using the Kanye West lyric, “Everybody knows I’m a motherf**kin’ monster.”

In Moonrise Kingdom you had a little girl tell a little boy that she liked his boner. What are your next big plans?
Well I was going to do a film that included tasteful fish beastiality but Del Toro really fucked me on that one. Had one drink with him six years ago and now he’s winning Oscars. Just saying.

Thoughts on the Rock?
I’m literally the only person who’s movies he won’t do so I’m fine with him but what’s his deal with me? I’ve written him a role in every single film and when he drops out I have to rewrite it without guns or tits.

How is it you can afford so many AAA actors/actresses in a movie? I’ve always assumed its like “getting the gang back together.”
You may think that but the truth is they are only AAA actors and actresses because they do my movies. Without me they all would have faded out a decade ago and I remind them of that often. We pay them very little and they sleep on cots that are all evenly spaced in Jason’s basement. Most of our production budget goes towards levels and rulers.
