COMME des GARÇONS is gearing up to launch its first online-only brand this July.
During the opening of Dover Street Market Beijing last week, CEO Adrian Joffe expressed to WWD that it will be the first “Internet-based” imprint by CdG and Rei Kawakubo is already planning out the website for it. This new addition will mark the 18th diffusion label by the perennial Japanese fashion house following HOMME DEUX, SHIRT, PLAY and more. The publication added that a “simple” range for both men and women will launch in six shops across the globe after the online-only brand’s debut.
