BLACK COMME des GARÇONS Drops Sparkly Nike Collab
The remastered Night Track shoe boasts patent leather and glitter.
After reworking Nike’s Waffle Racer silhouette, COMME des GARÇONS Black rejoins the sportswear giant for another elevated shoe. This time, the collaboration centers around the obscure Night Track model.
The retro runner was Nike‘s salute to ’70s opulence and offered appropriately unapologetic details, like glitter and metallic accents. CdG Black reimagines the sneaker with similarly loud detailing, but muted by an all-black colorway. Patent leather appears on the toe and Swoosh, while the rest of the upper boasts smooth leather. Glitter detailing on the laces and outsole add extra flair, while bold “CDG” branding appears in contrasting white on the heel.
