BornxRaised Enlists Musician Steve Lacy for Spring/Summer 2018
The Internet’s guitarist takes us into his hometown of Compton.
The Internet’s guitarist and vocalist Steve Lacy takes on a new role as BornxRaised‘s latest model. The LA-based brand delivered its first lookbook of the forthcoming spring/summer season earlier this year. Now, its newest release features the multi-hyphenate artist from Compton in his native neighborhood, sporting cut-and-sew pieces such as floral-printed button-ups and denim jackets, along with elevated sportswear including embroidered hoodies, sweatpants and graphic tees. Captured by photographer Alan Lear, the images are an amalgam of digital and 35 mm formats, portraying Lacy in a variety of styles and settings.
The items are available at BornxRaised’s webshop Monday, April 30th at 12pm PST, along with retailers Kith, Union LA and Selfridges now.
