Following on from last year’s Call of Duty: WWII game, Activision has released a first look at its upcoming Black Ops 4 installment in the Call of Duty franchise. The new trailer is confirmation of the new title — developed by Treyarch – which has been swirling for some time.

The 30-second clip gives little away about the game, with a quick montage of combat scenes that is light on details. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to be officially unveiled at a community reveal event on May 17, before releasing on October 12. Some fans of the game have pointed to its earlier-than-expected release date, which is seen as an attempt to rival Red Dead Redemption 2 and Battlefield V, both of which are slated to release in late October. You can watch the first clip from the game above.

In other entertainment news, Super Smash Bros. is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch.
