A Sultry Video for Miguel & Kacey Musgraves' "Waves" Remix is Coming
This is going to turn some heads.
Miguel continues to push his Wildheart single “Waves.” Continuing to earn “Waves” success as a standalone song, Miguel turns his sights to one of lesser-publicized remixes of the songs. The Travi$ Scott and Tame Impala versions of “Waves” have taken most of the limelight in recent weeks, now it’s time for the Kacey Musgraves edition to receive some attention. Both artists plan to drop a visual for the effort, and judging by this newly-released trailer, it’s going to be a pretty intimate watch. As Pitchfork notes, Musgraves stated the following to Elle when questioned about the number:
I feel like it’s gonna be a good, summer, slow, chill jam… It was a challenge. It was different figuring out, ‘How am I going to make this song me?’ I didn’t want it to sound like I’m just covering a Miguel song. I wanted it to sound like me.
