Lokal Hotel's Newest Location Is a Mid-Century Cabin in the Middle of the Woods
Mid-century exterior mixed with modern interiors.

Lokal Hotel is opened its first space in Philadelphia and, for its second location, founders Chad and Courtney Ludeman went off the beaten path. Deciding to take over a home space instead of a full-on hotel, it overhauled a 1960s A-frame cabin based in Dorchester, New Jersey.
The duo redesigned the cabin with modern interiors, looking to Scandinavia for inspiration with a palette of concrete, pine plywood and matte blacks and whites throughout. Consisting of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the largest bedroom has its own deck and en suite bathroom while the other floor has another bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room and bar. Meanwhile the basement has four twin bed spaces built into the wall alongside a lounge area and TV.
Take a look through the gallery to see the space for yourself. The Lokal’s prices start at $150 USD a night and you can book a room by visiting the hotel’s website.
